Secured VISA® Card

Home Trust secured VISA cardWith a Secured Visa Card you can build your credit quickly and easily.

It is the ideal combination of a Credit Card and a Debit Card. It works as a credit card to establish credit as it is reported to Equifax and works as a Debit Card as there is a prepaid limit.

Even if you have had difficulties managing your credit in the past or have never had a credit card this is a way for you to establish or re-establish your credit.

The application process is simple.

Transactions your Secured Visa Card will allow you to do:

  • Pay for Gas
  • Purchase groceries
  • Rent a car.
  • Make purchases over the phone or internet.
  • Plan and go on a vacation.
  • Reserve a hotel room.
  • Access cash from over 1 million ATMs around the world displaying the Visa logo.
How it works

To be issued a Secured Visa Card you will need to make a deposit. This deposit can be anywhere from $500.00 to $10,000.00. The credit card limit is then set at the amount of that deposit. Statements are issued every month and as balances are paid, payments get reported to Equifax and your credit is built.

If you decide to cancel your card, you can pay off your outstanding Secured Visa Card balance, and get your security deposit back.

The application process is very simple and almost everybody is approved! Of course, if your application is not approved, your security deposit will be returned to you.
